The application for GATE Funding Opportunities is now CLOSED.
The AZ HSI Consortium launched the AZ HSI GATE funding opportunities aimed at supporting individuals and teams from AZ HSIs in leading efforts that align with the consortium's aims and in direct response to one of the two funding tracks.
- Awards will fund projects at Arizona HSIs to identify barriers to higher education, engage in problem-solving, implement solutions for learner success, and document the changes made.
- Awards will support projects at Arizona HSIs that stimulate and support change and research that enriches our understanding in broadening participation in STEM at HSIs.
With the selection of our second cohort, the AZ HSI GATE initiative has now supported a total of 18 seed grant awardees, nine in each cohort. We are proud to announce the 2026–2027 AZ HSI GATE awardees; view the press release here.
