Lessons from a Community College: Building and Scaling an Undergraduate Research Program

This panel explores how Estrella Mountain Community College is moving undergraduate research from a grassroots faculty effort toward a formalized, institutionally supported program. Panelists will share lessons learned in building institutional buy-in, formalizing and scaling the program, supporting faculty, expanding equitable student access, and securing sustainable funding through internal and external sources such as NSF.
