Monique Beltran

Administrative Associate, Hispanic Serving Institution Initiatives

Monique was born in Tucson, Arizona and was raised in the City of South Tucson, a community that she has watched thrive and grow. Monique likes to volunteer at her Church, Olive Church, on Sundays. She likes working with the children and helping support the holiday events. Monique loves to travel and has been to 10 different countries. With a young family, world travel has been paused, so she now enjoys listening to National Geographic podcasts. Monique is dedicated to her family and loves spending time with them every day.

Monique serves as the Administrative Associate for Hispanic Serving Institutions Initiatives. She has served the department for the last four years and is passionate about the department’s achievements. She finds joy in knowing her work helps further enrich the college experience for Hispanic students.   Monique is a Pima Community College graduate and a proud transfer student. She completed her bachelor’s degree in May 2023 from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management. Monique looks forward to furthering her education once her young children are of school age.
