The University of Arizona (UArizona) Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Initiatives, in partnership with Faculty Affairs and Research, Innovation & Impact (RII), invites you to attend our inaugural HSI Grants Development Institute on Friday, November 19, 2021, 8:30am-4pm.
This institute will take place in-person at the University of Arizona and will cap attendance to 20 participants to ensure physical distancing can be maintained. Face coverings will be required. Should COVID19 conditions worsen, the institute will be facilitated virtually.

Purpose:
The purpose of this one-day in-person institute is to: (1) generate awareness of HSI federal and foundation funding opportunities, (2) strengthen understanding of HSI frameworks that are essential to informing an intentional design of proposed activities and associated research, and (3) cultivate potential networks among those with shared equity-focused interests for pursuing future HSI funding opportunities.
