UA HSI Ambassadors

HSI Initiatives is excited to launch the UA HSI Ambassadors aimed at cultivating an informed network of faculty, staff, and graduate students who can quickly and intentionally mobilize to connect our campus and local community to HSI-related opportunities. Throughout the year, HSI Initiatives receives notifications about scholarships, internships, research experiences, fellowships, employment, travel awards, conferences, leadership programs, professional development, award nominations, funding opportunities, volunteer requests, and more.

HSI Ambassadors will:

  • Support others in applying for these opportunities and consider applying themselves
  • Spring into action when we receive quick turnaround requests for opportunities
  • Distribute information regarding events hosted by HSI Initiatives
  • Present on HSI Initiatives at a department, college, student organization, affinity group, and/or community meetings
