THURSDAY, SEPT. 26 | 11:00 AM

In collaboration with Native SOAR and Native American Student Affairs (NASA), we hosted an immersive Indigenous food workshop led by cultural practitioners Tanisha Tucker and Maria Francisco. We went on a guided tour and service learning project at Mission Garden, a 'living' museum at the foot of Sentinel Peak ('A' Mountain), to learn more about how they preserve the unique agricultural history of Tucson and grow heritage crops local to the community.
