The AZ HSI Consortium is pleased to offer a limited number of travel stipends to support participation in the AZ HSI Summit for individuals whose institutional resources may not fully cover the cost of attendance. The AZ HSI Consortium is committed to expanding access and creating opportunities for faculty, staff, administrators, students, and community partners from HSIs and Emerging HSIs across Arizona to participate in this statewide convening.
Travel stipends are made possible through the generous support of the Helios Education Foundation and the National Science Foundation. Requests will be reviewed, and priority will be given to applicants for whom this support will have the greatest impact in making participation possible.
Eligibility: Faculty, staff, students (undergraduate & graduate), and post-docs from Arizona HSIs with demonstrated financial need are eligible to apply.
Permitted Expenses: Travel stipends will be used to offset attendance costs. Authorized expenses may include full or partial mileage reimbursement and hotel expenses for those living outside of the Glendale area. Full attendance at the summit will be required.
