Alliance of Hispanic Serving Research Universities

The University of Arizona is an affiliated university with the Alliance of Hispanic Serving Research Universities (HSRU). The HSRU is a unique coalition of 25 research-intensive institutions dedicated to boosting the success of students pursuing advanced degrees and contributing to the scientific research workforce, while leveraging our collective research capacity to address critical societal challenges.

HSRU Postdoctoral Fellowship Cohort Program

The HSRU Postdoctoral Fellowship Cohort Program is a competitive, one-year professional development and networking experience that supports postdoctoral scholars preparing for tenure-track faculty roles at research-intensive Hispanic- Serving Institutions (HSIs). It is designed to cultivate scholarly excellence, elevate teaching practice, and promote academic leadership within a multi-institutional, cohort-based setting.

The program strengthens the faculty pathway at institutions that combine a deep commitment to student success with top-tier research. It prepares scholars for impactful careers by expanding access to mentorship, visibility, and interinstitutional collaboration.

The UA is proud to partner with HSRU and UA Research & Partnerships to welcome fellows each year. Hispanic Serving Research Universities announce 2026 - 2027 Cohort Postdoctoral Fellows
