During her time as an HSI Fellow, she has focused her professional advocacy on increasing graduate degree attainment for Latinxs. She has enjoyed working with colleagues to enhance their holistic admissions practices in her role as Director of Graduate Studies for her department.

Professor Xavier Segura shares his work using servingness as sí se puede! Guiding participants to use servingness with intention, purpose, and presence. By using these three guiding principles within the classroom, other faculty can cultivate safe spaces in the classroom. He shares the creation of PA 418- LGBTQ+, the Law, & Public Policy which were guided by servingness as sí se puede.
