Description

Experience Mexico with CIELO and the Guerrero Student Space this summer! The Vivir Mexico Program takes you beyond the classroom to Mexico City and Guanajuato as we explore historic sites, visit world-class museums, and engage in dynamic discussions on Mexico’s culture, history, and current events. Through immersive experiences, you will gain a deeper understanding of the country while creating unforgettable memories with fellow Wildcats. Join us in this opportunity to learn, explore, and grow on this experiential learning adventure! On this experience, you will also have to opportunity to earn one undergraduate course credit.

  • Program fee: $3300
  • One undergraduate course credit available!

Itinerary

Program Highlights:

Program activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Teotihuacán, Basílica de Santa María de Guadalupe, & Tlatelolco
  • Frida Kahlo Museum, Xochimilco/Santuario Ajolote & Coyoacán
  • The Aztec Sun Stone (National Museum of Anthropology), Chapultepec Castle, and Parque la Mexicana (Santa Fe)
  • Mexico City Metro, Cable Car & Iztapalapa Cable Car/Murals
  • Centro Histórico walking tour: Bellas Artes, Palacio de Correos, Zocalo, Templo Mayor
  • Grutas de Tolantongo and Guanajuato City
  • Independence Trail Tour in Guanajuato
  • Guanajuato City tour and Resplandor
  • Cerro del Sombrero and Resplandor
  • Cooking class
